Carica Papaya Leaf Extract Tablets:
Carica papaya extract accelerates the platelet count in DENGUE AFFECTED patients and shortens the hospitalisation.
The carica papaya extract has been categorized as non toxic because of its LD50 value > 15 gms per kg body weight (Kardonoetyal. 2003).
Carica Pappaya extract also found to have immunomodulatar effect (Otsuki et al 2010).
Improves liver function and repairs the damage to the liver done by dengue thereby helping to recover from the disease.
Indications:
To increase the platelets and white blood cells(WBC) in DF & DHF Patients.
Mode of action:
Carica papaya extract increases the ALOX 12 gene activity by 15 folds in just 3 days. ALOX 12 is known to be associated with increased MEGAKARYOCYTE production as well as its conversion to platelets through 12-HETE mediated pathway which in turn leads to increased platelet production.
